“The Human Race is totally obsessed with thought, and our minds are constantly cluttered with thoughts and ideas. This is exhausting! We all understand there are ‘things’, and the space around things. By the same token, there is ‘thought’ and the space around thought. To enter this joyful and relaxing space, we don’t need to ‘do’ or ‘switch’ anything. We simply need to be fully in the moment, and awareness arises naturally. This can be done by simply focusing on one’s breathing, or by ‘focusing vertically’. I also often take a mental step back to become the ‘observer’ of my thoughts. ie. I move beyond thought.”
